    Welcome to being a young adult.

    It’s hard. It’s overwhelming. It’s oh, so rewarding.

    They are old enough to be helpful but flexible enough to fit in to any situation. Need an excuse to go get coffee — text your resident young adult. (Don’t call us. We will not answer.)

  • Cold.

    Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the constant demand for growth? The need for something on a screen in front of you to tell you how to complete “x” or just do “y” for quick results. Social media screams all of the things that we lack at us–we aren’t fit enough, attractive enough, or smart enough. Maybe growth wasn’t the correct word. Maybe the word is perfection.

    Fall also brings a ton of unknowns for me. This is the season of endings and beginnings. The fall holds my birthday & signals the end of the year, a time of year where I often wonder if I’m doing enough. If I’m obeying the Lord enough. If I’m serving others enough. How do I squeeze everything I wanted to do in the last six weeks of the year?
